The light-flooded space impresses with its unique parquet floor, numerous cast-iron columns and painted ceilings. The hall has been lovingly restored in recent years and is now available to you. Here you will find the perfect place for your wedding, your birthday party, your company event or for the presentation of your products. Let us help you with the organization. Archiv room ⋅ Small ballroom
If you are planning a festivity or an event in a not so big style, the archive room should be the right one for you. This noble ballroom with its arched ceiling is ideal for example. For example, for lectures, readings, birthday parties or projects in a slightly smaller frame and offers you the ideal alternative to our large ballroom the Minerals Cabinet. Standing and seating up to 100 people, with square tables seating for up to 45 people, variable table arrangement.
Castle Chapel ⋅ Traukapelle
If you prefer a larger space, you have the opportunity to realize the ceremony in our in-house Traukapelle. Enter the bond of marriage in a very romantic environment. A feast for the eye at every conceivable festive, even church occasion.
Seating and chairs in the chapel and on the gallery for max. 100 people. The fee for the room rent of 190 euros is payable to the municipality of Diez.
Please note:
The scattering of rice, real petals and similar throwing materials is not permitted for the protection of the floor and for slipping. In addition, sparklers must not be ignited in the building.
The castle chapel is also at your disposal for anniversaries, christenings, concerts, church services and other suitable events.
Castle courtyard ⋅ chessboard
The impressive castle courtyard with a checkerboard floor pattern offers a fantastic backdrop for your event. Enjoy the unique view of the castle surroundings. More Romatik open-air is almost impossible. You decide which celebration it should be. Your wishes are no limits. We are happy to advise you regarding the optimal design.
A romantic open-air option for free wedding ceremonies, concerts, theater, receptions etc. with space for up to 400 people.
Marstall ⋅ Cafe in the castle
In the former sovereign horse stables of the Hungarian half-bloods of the Archduke you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in former horse stalls with stylish tables and seating, inviting you for a coffee or a rest. The stables with its high vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling, cast-iron pillars spread noble cosiness. We look forward to you!

Castle Garden ⋅ Free wedding ceremony
The gorgeous castle garden, with a view of Schloss Schaumburg in the background, offers your free wedding the perfect setting. Give yourself the privilege of being in the open air in an idyllic setting. The gorgeous castle courtyard with panoramic views is also perfect for a free wedding ceremony.
